David Lauer has been immersed in the visual arts for over 25 years. During 2011 he was the Co-Visual Effects Supervisor of the team that won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in the feature film “Life of Pi.” His emergence as a successful architectural photographer began in one of the world’s leading design cities, Los Angeles. He has since relocated to Denver, CO, a city with rapid urban growth and its own vibrant design community.
Available for assignments nationwide, Lauer captures the work of leading architects, innovative designers and influential artists.
David draws upon his highly trained eyes to create precise photographs with inviting compositions, emphasizing interesting details and engaging perspectives. His style brings to life the soulful element of natural light and produces images that are able to evoke the feeling of a space.
